Population Pyramid
The population pyramid below shows that the population of India has a lot of children below 14 but they also have enough youth to provide for them. It also shows the the population is increasing because the amount of children is very high compare to the amount of elders. Demographic Transition
India is in stage 3 of Demographic Transition. As I have stated before the CRB is very high compare to the CDR which is what stage 3 is. India is also a developing country. Sanitation have improved in the urbans by 60.2%, there are .65 physicians per 100 people. 62.8% of the population is literate and there are still a lot of agriculture. Comparing to United States, India’s CBR is higher by 7 people per 1000. The CDR is lower by 1 person per 1000. |
